Annabel’s Baby Toddler Recipes App Reviews

I just downloaded this app and so far I love it. I needed some new ideas for baby food and this is just what I was looking for. I could have bought a recipe book, but I really wanted the convenience of having it all in my iPod. This app has some great recipes and information on feeding at all stages through toddler. I love the videos too. I havent used all of the features yet, but will definitely try out the list function. It is a bit pricey but it was worth it for me. One thing is all the measurements are in European metrics but there is a handy conversion chart included.

This app is jusk ok. It has only a little bit if recipes for each stage and they are nothing i havent done already. I regret buying it for the price its way to over price for the little info it gives you. I say it sould be worth only a dollar.

Great concept but poor in terms of value for money. If youre interested in recipes go to the website (for free!) where youll find a greater variety to try.

...but with that said I am still hoping that they will update it & add a few more recipes. The recipes I have made are delicious - I want to eat the lovely lentils! I like the shopping list option - very useful if I find myself at the store but have forgotten my list. It is the most expensive app I have ever purchased though. If you already own an Annabel Karmel cookbook you may already have some of the recipes. In response to Kms90s review: You can change the measurements from UK to US under the "More" tab, then "Settings". Once you have done this you dont need to keep checking the conversion chart. :o)

A few recipes, I was kind of expecting more detail for the age group and more recipes. It would be more worth it to buy the book.

Very few recipes. Tips are silly and dont really provide any new or helpful pieces of information. Some of the foods and nutrition tips are somewhat controversial, for example, giving eggs to children under the age of 1 is not recommended by most nutrition experts or pediatricians. I wish I waited to read reviews of others before buying this app. Def not worth 8 bucks.

Forgets to mention whether first fruits need to be peeled prior to cooking (which they do). Doesnt provide the option of not cooking (eg pears dont have to be cooked prior to pureeing). She says she has an app where you can search for a food & it will give you recipes & age appropriate advice - ??? which I certainly cant seem to find.

My friend introduced her to me and i just started using her recipes and my baby and I love it!

It is soooo amazing and so helpful... Actually my son stopped screaming cos he has a full tummy now!! ;) All I do is open the app find a recipe and just do it. Thanks a lot.

I have the book, but thought it would be helpful to have the app handy, so I can plan meals on the go. But the recipes are limited. Wish therell be more to come!

I love this app! I have one of the books, but the app allows you to watch exactly how a recipes steps go, in case you still have questions. And, since its mobile, I dont have any trouble using it at the grocery store.

Theres apps out there just like this one thats free! Some of the free ones provided more. For how much this app costs, I expected four times more recipes.

I really love AK recipes. I make them for my baby all the time. I was hoping this app would be good for on the go but it has few recipes. Also my daughter has a milk allergy so the small selection of recipes is even smaller because most call for milk or cheese!! Great start but it needs more recipes to make it fantastic and worthy of the AK brand!

Nice but overpriced for the little amount of recipes that are on there. Most of these recipes were already on her website which is free. Disappointed.

The plan is nice, but the recipes are very limited and seem so what repetitive, I got her book and it prompted me to get the app but this is a waste of $5, should have put it towards another of her books instead

I was really surprised by how little content there is. There are only a few recipes and tips and hardly anything new that isnt on Babycenter or other free baby sites. Many of the cross links just refer to the same content and there are too many plugs for other Annabel Karmel products. Its the most overpriced app Ive ever bought and I feel really ripped off. I wish I could return this.

I lve h products and was excited to get this app but now I feel ripped off...the app is not working well and some recipes are missing while oths are just showing the photos and not the ingredients and directions/steps...it is a very expensive app and I really thought that it would have contained more variety in recipes and functioned better...what a waste!

This app is not worth it. I read the reviews and hoped that they were wrong but it was true, this app has very few recipes. Not worth it, you are better off just looking for them online.

I agree with the other comments that this app is over-priced and includes too few recipes. I should have simply looked up recipes online for my kids.
